This paper will be 12-14 pages in length (double-spaced in 12 pt. Times font with 1-inch margins). Page count does not include the title page, reference pages, or graphics. It does include the abstract page. You will need to have a minimum of ten references on your references pages and you will cite those sources within your paper. The citations are in author/year format, for example (Smith, 2017). Punctuation goes after the citation. Four of those sources will be from peer-reviewed journals. Most worthy scientific journals are peer-reviewed. Articles with a DOI are usually peer-reviewed. You will include at least three pertinent graphics that you reference in the paper (at least two of the following: charts, tables, graphs, and maps; and 1 photo). When possible you should create the charts/tables/graphs based on data in your sources. You must provide a source for each graphic. Please place all graphics near the text that describes it, not at the end of the paper. Each graphic will have a label, such as Figure 1, a title, and a short description.
