15-day lesson plan, I have a draft that I don’t have enough time to work on. This lesson plan is based on:

My lesson plan is for 8th grade, about the book “The Princess and the Goblin”. My draft is about reading the book in class but the professor provided me with these advices that want me to add to my lesson plan:
Intro: Students have already done a first read of the text The Princess and the Goblin. Also indicate the time of the school year begins/mid/end
introduce a project for the end of the 15 day unit. diorama, movie poster, digital story/multimodal presentation. – focus on the stories different settings.
Day 1. – Keep it simple with just a Freytag’s Plot Pyramid lesson. Have students fill in blanks of a standard pyramid. – student fill in a blank plot pyramid.
Day 2 – Characters and Character Traits – introduce archetypes
Day 3 – refress with goblin character Traits – conflicts – princess vs Goblin (universal Conflicts)
Day 4 – teach theme – what is a theme, universal themes, implied themes.
Day 5 – continue with how the theme develops in the different chapters and with the various characters.
Day – Setting – what is the setting of the story. How does the setting change and how do those changes effect the princess / characters.
introduce archetype.
Day -14-15 peer review the project day 14 – day 15 present the dioramas demonstrate the mastery of the standard that was the focus of the project.

Diorama: your diorama is to focus on
the story’s different settings, now I will make a diorama about the forest and
where the goblins live, how these settings contribute to my plot,
Movie poster: remember to be nice

Make your lesson plan for the end of
the year, so the standards are already teached and you don’t have to teach them
in order.
Day 1: Start with plot, Freytag’s
pyramid chart to cheat the students through the 15 days, climax is when the
story takes a turn, resolution: she gets married
(Setting is part of plot) Teach plot
first,
Day 2: what you expect the princess
to look like?
Day 3: Princess vs goblin. What are
the universal problems? Add some lessons
Day 4: Themes, whats the message staring
to be learn in the book
Day14-15 peer review the project,
they present their diorama, OR A MOVIE POSTER
