You will write a Literary Research Paper in MLA Format over the novel Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton using the below topic prompt:
In the novel Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton, a primary theme is isolation (physical and mental) is depicted.
After presenting your personal interpretation of isolation, research and choose three real-life issues or events that demonstrate the devastating effects of isolation (as defined by you).
These events may be local, regional, national, or global. (Covid Pandemic, social media, lifestyles, goals, financial status, age)
Compare and contrast each of these real-life individuals or events to one character in the novel in terms of their isolation, actions taken to overcome the isolation, and effects of those actions.
