Project Overview: In this capstone project, you will use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to assess and improve your digital wellness by achieving a healthier balance with technology usage. The project will demonstrate your mastery of the applications and will help you to develop mindful and responsible technology habits, leading to improved mental well-being and overall productivity.
Instructions:
1)   Microsoft Word
a)     Technology Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of your technology usage. List all the digital devices and platforms you regularly interact with, including smartphones, computers, social media, streaming services, and gaming platforms.
b)    Digital Wellness Goals: Based on the technology assessment, define three specific digital wellness goals you want to achieve. These goals can be related to reducing screen time, setting boundaries for social media, practicing digital detox, or creating tech-free zones.
c)     Digital Wellness Plan: Develop a digital wellness plan that outlines practical strategies for achieving your digital wellness goals. Include actionable steps, time management techniques, and ways to limit distractions. Research tips to help maintain balance of personal wellness and digital technology.
d)    Showcase Word skills learned throughout the semester to format attractively by using headings, lists, images, SmartArt, tables, or other appropriate and professional formatting. Limit to one page.
2)   Microsoft Excel
a)     Technology Log and Analysis: Use Microsoft Excel to create a technology log to track your daily screen time and usage of digital platforms for the last week or two (estimate if needed). Analyze the data using Excel to identify patterns and areas where technology usage can be optimized for better balance. Create tables and charts to format your sheet attractively. Limit to one sheet. 
3)   Microsoft PowerPoint
a)     Presentation on Digital Wellness: Create a PowerPoint presentation summarizing your technology assessment, digital wellness goals, technology log analysis, digital wellness plan, and wellness tips. Use engaging slides to share your journey towards a more balanced digital lifestyle. No more than 10 slides. Include a title slide with your name, date, and course information.
b)    Presentation Practice: Practice delivering your PowerPoint presentation as if you were giving a workshop on digital wellness. Focus on clarity and enthusiasm while conveying the importance of finding a healthy technology balance. Use the Rehearse with Coach tool under the Slide Show tab.
