Purpose: Students will develop a PowerPoint presentation that examines a current (within the last year)
global health problem and strategies for resolution of this problem. The global health problem may be
of your choosing but must be approved by faculty and cannot be pandemic/COVID related.
Objectives: After completing this assignment, the student should be able to:
Analyze a selected global health problem.
Directions: Follow these directions to construct the Future of Global Health PowerPoint Presentation.
Students can work in groups of 2 or independently.
Use at least 3 sources such as the course textbook, website(s), and/or journal article(s).
Be sure to include ‘note pages’ that provide more detailed information about each slide.
There must be audio on this assignment.
Use standard PowerPoint rules: Google – how to make a PowerPoint presentation
Use graphics in the presentation
Ensure your PowerPoint presentation is well organized, logical, and inclusive of all the
required components. Also, please see rubric in the course for this assignment.
Use APA format (title page, citations in text, quotes, and reference page). No abstract is
needed.
