Which friend had the most influence on your life during your adolescence or right now?
Describe the most significant peer-related event you experienced during adolescence or in your older age.?
What cultural or socioeconomic factors might have an impact on the quality of the aging experience for the individual?
Based on the retirement experiences of people you are familiar with, how typical is this person’s experience?
What is your retirement plan and What aspects of your retirement resonate as unique compared to the retirement stories you are familiar with?
What would you do differently?
How have these experiences contributed to your present life, or how have these life experiences contributed to your choices and behaviors regarding your various future plans.?
Student(s) would then write each of the participants’ answers on paper along with their age categories. After completing the interviews, students would relate all these individuals’ experiences to specific aspects of Erikson’s psychosocial and Bronfenbrenner’s ecological theories to explain the possible factors that contributed to their experiences.
