Step 2: Research Find five relevant and credible sources related to the problem. At least two must be from ProQuest. Find three relevant graphics (images, charts, graphs, etc.). Step 3: Plan Consider the following about your chosen topic – Problem What has led to the problem (causes) Negative impact due to problem (effect) Two possible solutions Evaluation criteria for solutions (how you will choose which one is best) Final claim (recommend a single solution Step 4: Write Write a formal report with the following sections – APA-style cover page Introduction (briefly state problem and possible solutions) Background (explanation of problem causes and effects) Solutions (explain two possible solutions) Comparison Criteria (two ways to choose which solution is best) Discussion (evaluate each solution using each criterion) o Include a table summarizing this information Recommendation (concisely state which solution is best and why) APA-style References page Guidelines: Submit your final report as a single .PDF document. Include captions with all graphics and tables. Follow APA style guidelines for report writing. Use headings and subheadings in accordance with APA style (see sample). Include in-text citations and a full References page citation for each of the five required sources. Note that the 5-7 page length requirement does not include the title and references pages.
