The changes in this week’s letter to Aunt Fran. In addition to writing this final letter to Aunt Fran by telling her about the content of this week’s module and reporting on your selfcare, this letter need to include a PART C.
There are pros and cons to this from, both, the professsor’s perspective and the students perspective. Please feel free to be honest about your experience with writing PART A and PART B sections of these letters. Here is an example of the letter that is required (see attachment).
Students will submit EIGHT short (1-2 page) reviews of our course content. These reviews wll be a practice in disseminating rical gounded research for the everyday person. Family Crisis is a critical topic, not only in academia, but in our homes and communities as well. As researchers, teachers, and leaders it is your privilege to disserminate these topics and resources for YOUR community.
PART A must include a disseminatd explanation of at least ONE key concept from our content study for the week. Consider what you are writing a letter to your Great Aunt Fran. She wants to know what you are learning and studying but she doesn’t have the empirical language that you have. Share with Aunt Fran thoughts that you have had about our discussions, readings, assignments, a-ha moments, and outside resources that you may have found that relate to our topics. Another way to consider this part of the module review is that you are writing a social media post about the contents of each module.
PART B must include a reporting of wellness and/or self-care. Self reflection is a critical, and often underappreciated, aspect of studying and working with families and communities. You will do a check in on your own mental and emotional health.
