What is a research supported essay?
• You are responsible for researching and reading on a subject material in combination with your own word biographical paper are allowed.
The Assignment

•Third Person voice is required for this formal academic essay. No frist or second person allowed.
•The most frequent problem that students have with this assignment is allowing the source to take over the essay and failing to explain the information from the sources and how it relates to other sources and especially to the their own thesis .
• In short you should be able to remove the Short material for your essay and still have framework of effective paper.
• You should Use quotes phrases and summarize for your resource. Remember, you must choose your resource information wisely and be able to follow up with your own thoughts what does the quote in your writing.
• Generally, you should avoid using long quotations remember, choose wisely. Important longer passage should be summarize or paraphrased To keep up your idea, idea your words as a focus Of the essay. Only one block quote. Allow if you use one at all.

The Essay

• In text citation and a work cited page are both required for your paper to earn a passing grade. Remember in text citation requires the use of signal phrases and parentheses!
No categories/subsections paragraph format only.
•Recycling a paper from a previous class/assignment is not allowed.
Source Requirements for the Essay
•At lease ONE ACADEMIC source required,minimum. Your sources must include at least 1 Database articles. The other 3Sources are you choice as long as they’re academically sound Never cite Wikipedia use their Sources.
• You may have more 4 sources if you choose limit yourself to 7 Sources if possible don’t let your sources take over.
•Work Cited page is in addition to the 3 page requirement.
•No Wikipedia allowed
