Select a sociocultural group whose experiences, perspectives, and/or intellectual work relates to the “big idea” but is marginalized in curriculum. By reading books and/or journal articles, investigate how selections of work written by scholars who are members of that group address it. For this paper, read work written for adults, rather than work written for children.
Write no more than eight pages discussing the main ideas, perspective, and ideology in this body of work that could inform curriculum content.

In this assignment, you are investigating
transformative intellectual knowledge first
through the steps of the “Guide for
Research.” Write the paper first following
the steps making a section for main ideas,
perspectives, ideology, and goals. Next,
create a mind map around your Unit to
include your big idea, DOK levels, Christian
practices, and multiethnic concepts that will
be embedded into your Unit. Please use Harry Potter and the Socerers stone for the unit paper. I will make the mind map. This is a 7th grade English class
