(I have the textbook on Pearson ebook)! POWERPOINT PRESENTATION FINAL: You will

April 13, 2024

(I have the textbook on Pearson ebook)!
POWERPOINT PRESENTATION FINAL:
You will choose any topic dealing with the scope of our course and create a well-researched Presentation to be posted online for your classmates to view and critique. You should only use Power Point. Your Power Point Presentation will be posted online in the Final Presentation Dropbox, found on Assignments. The Presentation is worth 15% of your final course grade and counts as your final exam.
Here are some general guidelines for my expectations for the Presentation:
• Consider this “assigned” on the first day of class; you may complete and submit it anytime before the due date, as long as you feel prepared to conduct good research on your chosen topic.
• Your Presentation should contain the title of the Presentation, the course title, and the date, as well as your name.
• No direct quotes are allowed. Use your own words. Quotations show me only that you know how to copy/paste, but don’t demonstrate that you understand the material you’re quoting.
• A minimum of three (3) references are required and should be at the end of your Presentation in a section titled “References.” Please refer to Modules for tutorials on how to use APA style correctly.
• Websites are permitted as references, but please be a careful consumer of Internet information, making sure it is free of bias and is based upon fact. Websites that reference where the information was found are the most factual.
• Online encyclopedias and dictionaries may not be used as references, under any circumstances, and will not count toward your total number of references.
• The Presentation should contain full information in abbreviated format. Your Presentation should offer visual and written cues to the content. A viewer at home should have enough information available to understand the general meaning, but not so much detail that it’s too much to read. The Presentation must be a minimum of 20 slides of content (so with the Title slide and two References slides, that’s a minimum of 22 slides), and no more than 25 total slides.
• You may use Microsoft Power Point or Google Slides, provided you download the presentation and Save As Microsoft Power Point before attaching your file to Dropbox.
