I. INTRODUCTION
The Introductory statement about the study does the following:
A. Presents a general statement about the study.
B. Presents the need for the study.
C. Purpose for the study
D. Definition of terms – defining words that will allow the reader to understand your problem. There is no limit on the number of terms.
E. Plan of Action to investigate the Problem.
1. Source of data
2. Hypothesis
3. Null Hypothesis
F. Limitations of the Study
G. Summary of Sections D, E, and F
The Introduction to the study must be a minimum of 15 – 20 pages. Understand that the Introduction Steps A, B, C, D, E, F. and G above collectively should be that length for a minimum.
II. REVIEW OF LITERATURE

Review of Studies – There cannot be more than one review older than five years. Out-of-date material will not be accepted.
Summary – The review of literature must include a minimum of 25 references. The references must lend credibility to your proposal.
