Each student will be individually assigned a company within the sports industry from their selection. Students are required to analyze the financial status of their assigned company and predict its future value. The submission should consist of a comprehensive paper comprising a minimum of five full pages of text. Adhere to APA formatting rules regarding margins, font, spacing, etc. The project carries a maximum value of 90 points.
Students must provide responses encompassing the following information. Please note that the five-page requirement excludes references, tables, and other supplementary materials.
1. Company Background (at least 2 pages)
a) History of the company
b) An overview of the company industry, product category, and competitors c) An overview of the company’s products/services
2. The overview of Company Financial Status (at least last 2 years) (at least 2 pages)
a) Company’s Balance Sheet
b) Company’s Income Statement
c) Company’s Cash Flow Statement
d) Company’s financial indicators
e) Revenue Growth Rate, EBITDA, Gross margin, Operating margin, ROA, ROE, EPS
f) Company’s business life cycle

h) The tables related to B/S, Income Statement, Cash Flow should be included in your
written report. However, these tables should be attached to a separate page (i.e.,
Appendix) and will not be included in the total page of this project.
i) Based on this variety of financial information, two pages should be filled by describing the company’s financial situation and your interpretation of these financial statements and ratios.
3. Company Future Prediction (at least 1 page)

3. Spacing: Double-spaced, with no extra spacing in the Word document. Ensure that the

a. First line: Student’s name.
b. Second line: Begin the student’s response.
5. Content: Responses should be in paragraph form and must fill exactly two complete
pages.
6. References: The last page should include references and be formatted according to APA
style rules.
