Instructions
The term project is an individual activity done in cooperation with the professor, 1:1. Students develop the parameters of their projects and may choose any topic (problem) they like. Due to the individual nature of this activity, it is often helpful to maintain a dialogue with the professor throughout the process.
A 1:1 meeting with the professor is required and results in a basic project plan (May be done via email or Zoom). Feedback is given to the project plan. The most important goals of this step in the project is to develop a problem that may be addressed with data that are accessible, and that may be used with at least one main method in our course. Once data are obtained, a more developed, final project plan can be made.
The final deliverable is a sourced paper, typically about 15 pages in length. All tables and figures must be numbered. A cover page is required, as well as a reference page. Any method of notation may be used, though most students use parenthetical references to sources.
Papers should follow the format used for previous submitted reports in class, but will include more detail about the problem being studied. The attached outline may be used as guide. Many papers vary some from the standard outline. There is also an example final paper.

(PLEASE INCLUDE COPY AND PASTED PICTURES OF ANY RELEVANT GRAPHS, P-VALUES, Z-SCORES, F-VALUE’S OR T-TESTS THAT DRAW CONCLUSIONS ABOUT THE DATA. I HAVE ALSO ATTACHED THE DATA AS WELL AS THEIR SOURCES) PLEASE USE REGRESSIONAL ANALYSIS, ALSO USE TESTING AND ESTIMATION TO FORECAST.
FOR THE DATA PLEASE ONLY USE FROM YEARS 1992-2023.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS (COVER AND REFERENCE PAGE WITH SEVERAL SOURCES CITED), AND TRY TO FOLLOW THE SAME TONE AND INTELLECT FROM THE EXAMPLE PAPER ATTACHED AS WELL AS THE OUTLINE ATTACHED.
