To begin with, receiving educations means learning and allowing to inform myself about more things that could be important and benefit me in the future. For example, being educated means to be able to understand how social welfare policy is relevant to lives. How social welfare affects people’s lives and to be able to understand how the social welfare system works. Education is known to be a social policy. There is a mandate for public education for all the children at least until they reach the age of 16 years. Education has the potential to be able to provide individuals with tremendous social and economic advantages. Education is known to be institutional and universal which makes it potentially known to be one of the strongest policy for being able to promote social justice. Receiving an education can help benefit the income of a person’s earning. Usually the advantage of higher earnings for higher educational attainment compounds over one’s lifetime. The education level for a 9th to 12th grade with no diploma is likely to have the lowest earnings. The higher the degree, the weekly earnings in increase. However, access to post secondary education depends on the schooling one gets from grades K-12. But there is still some significant disparities and hence room for improvement in educational opportunities and also outcomes.

I think that education is a transformative force in one’s life. I think education can definitely expand my knowledge base and refine my skills, setting myself up for success in both my personal and professional life. It’s not just about landing a good job, it’s about empowering myself to pursue my passions, like being a social worker, and achieve my goals. I believe that a strong foundation in education will allow me to contribute positively. Education gives me ability to think, know information, and learn about the complicated issues. This makes me confident enough to take on issues head on and make informed decisions. Education isn’t just about books and tests, it’s about meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about their cultures. This helps me understand different perspectives and become more open minded. Education brings people together, like for example, school. While education is about a degree, it’s also about learning how to learn. It gives me the skills to keep growing and changing, even when things get tough. I personally think education is going to help me live a life that’s full of purpose and meaning. It’s going to make me think problems through and make a good solution and going to help me in the future, especially with my career. It’s going to help me grow as a person.
