The discussion assignment for this week includes a review of the Key Assignment draft completed by one of your classmates, as well as a substantial response to at least one other student.
Primary Task Response: Your first task is to post your own Key Assignment draft to the discussion area so that other students are able to review your plan. The purpose of this assignment is to help improve the quality of the final Key Assignment you will complete next week.
Respond to Another Student: Review at least 1 other student’s Key Assignment outline and provide meaningful feedback. Refrain from general feedback, such as simply stating “good job.” Your feedback to other students is most helpful if you not only point out weak areas but also offer suggestions for improvement. The best feedback takes a three-stage approach to identify what was done well, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

Reading and Learning Materials
Use these resources to help you complete this assignment:
- The Ethics of Affective Leadership: Organizing Good Encounters Without Leaders
- Authentic Leadership and Behavioral Integrity as Drivers of Follower Commitment and PerformanceClass, this is a great opportunity to get some feedback on your Key Assignment Outline Draft. This will be extremely helpful to gain some great feedback from your peers. You can review each other’s papers and provide some creative ideas, advice, or potential areas to explore. You can share resource information as well!
One word of caution, be gentle in your approach. We all do things differently, so make sure your feedback is relevant but respectful to each other’s differences in writing, use of certain words, and approach to the topic. I would say to always frame your critique in a positive light, for example, “I think your paper is well thought out and researched, and my only suggestion or idea would be to add……etc etc”.
