The diversity assignment involves research. The focus of the assignment is to critically critique literature on diverse/disadvantaged and/or oppressed social issues that relates to the assigned groups. The social conflict allows you to explore differences from the usual family, work, community, or group experience. The group may relate to gender, ethnicity, racial identity, religion, spirituality, and the full spectrum of beliefs, political ideology, sexual orientation, age, economic/class status, national identity, immigration status, and different abilities. The goal of this assignment is to assist you in using social work literature to identify techniques and strategies (evidence-based and research-informed) supported by research in working with diverse groups.
What you need to do:
This is a written group assignment.
The paper must include headings and subheadings if necessary.
The paper must include a cover and reference page (these pages are not included in the page count).
The paper must be a minimum of 8- and a maximum of 10-pages.
The paper must be written as a student paper in APA format.
