About This Assignment
An executive summary (aka management summary) is a brief document that summarizes a longer report, proposal, or other readings in such a manner that the reader can quickly become fairly familiar with the major aspects of what is summarized.

Double-check to make sure all the required readings and videos are listed in the template. If any are missing, add them before submitting your assignment.
Read the Guidelines for Writing an Executive Summary.
Use the guidelines and the grading rubric to prepare an executive summary of the assigned readings and videos for Units 5 and 6.
Unit 5 (Focus on followership and motivation and Focus on teams and performance)
Unit 6 (Focus on coaching individuals and teams and Focus on situational demands)
Write a 6-10 page executive summary that would help someone who has not seen the material gain a working knowledge of the most important issues presented in the readings and videos.
Your executive summary should contain your summaries of eight (8) readings and videos. Summaries of the four chapters from the textbook are required. You will
choose the other four readings/videos to summarize. Adjust your Reference page to include just the references you summarize in the paper.
In this assignment, use bullet points rather than paragraphs to write your summaries.
Submit your executive summary as a Word document.
