The purpose of an evidence table is to incorporate multiple studies into a single table in
order to capture similarities and differences among them and illustrate trends in the data.
An evidence table allows the articles found during the literature search to be summarized and compared.
For this assignment, you will use the three research articles that you selected for your
literature search assignment. The research articles that you identified should meet the
following criteria:
Be current, published within the last 5 – 7 years (preferably 5 years)
Be complete reports of single, primary research studies… NOT REVIEWS
Published in peer-reviewed, scholarly journals.
Using the three primary research articles you selected and submitted for your literature
search*, fill out the evidence table (I WILL ATTACH A TEMPLATE AND A SAMPLE TABLE) The table must not be more than 3 pages (1 page per article). Edit this table carefully. Double-spacing is not required. Use the hierarchy of evidence provided in your textbook to rate each article’s level of evidence (Figure 1-3).
