educational: how I over came my struggles with adhd
High school terrible gpa and student
College got diagnosed got my gpa up and became an incredible student filled with passion to learn
work history: 10 years of restaurant experience never worked in the healthcare system until now working in the hospital as a secretary of the radiation oncology department… this is where i learned my passion for healthcare. Have always loved working with people, in healthcare i can work with people and take care of them and be part of their healing
your academic goals: to get a degree in radiology first then radiation therapy

why you are applying to the program: I’m applying because of my new experience working in a radiation oncology department and seeing how many lives are changed daily with this work. Including my own father who just went through radiation treatment for his prostate cancer and how much of an impact his treatment has brought to his life and our family. My dad refused to do the treatment because he was afraid. But sitting there watching the therapist explain the treatment and ease my dads fears was a life changing moment. My dad was actually excited to come in everyday for his treatments due to how the therapists took care of him
the qualifications you have that make you a strong candidate for this program: no work or educational hisgtory in the medical field but i have a strong determination to learn and achieve this degree. I was able to overcome my learning disability and now I am going to overcome my deficiency in this field and work harder
