Instructions: The students will take the professional terminology and bring it to life through an electronic picture
scrapbook constructed through a PowerPoint presentation. Students will provide personal picture images to represent a variety of (50) selected client factors and (50) selected performance skills found in the OTPF Terms and Definitions Handout to represent each of the following areas of occupation: (1) Activities of Daily Living; (2) Instrumental Activities of Daily Living; (3) Health Management; (4) Rest and Sleep; (5) Education; (6) Work; (7) Play; (8) Leisure; and (9) Social
Participation.
For example. the PowerPoint will have 1 personal. dicture image representing each area of occupation. Each picture
example will demonstrate how a varietv of OTPF terminoloav is used in the provided picture.
The student will be expected to justify how the terminology is being depicted in each picture. Each picture used can/should display numerous terms, hence the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”. The terms will be graded
based on if they are correctly depicted and justified in the pictures. The terms will only be graded one time through a
check-off system on whether the term has been used correctly or not.
Grading: This project will be worth 20% of your grade. The quality of your project will be based on the
following items:

what occupation and subcategory is being represented
Thoroughly describe the context of the picture including the environmental factors and the personal factors of the “main character” in the image
Include a description and justification of the performance patterns that are relevant to the picture image
Each slide should contain:
as many performance skills and client factors that can be used to describe what is occurring in
the image
at least 50 performance skills (from motor skills, process skills, and social interaction skills) will be used throughout the final project of 3 submissions
