Overview: In this Module you will do a comprehensive summary of an article (Botstein, Singleton, or Levin) and a direct argument against the article with an introduction, at least four body paragraphs, each at least 2/3 of a page long double-spaced, using at least three of my sources integrated into your arguments to support them in the form of summary and paraphrase properly documented with signal phrases listing the title of the source in quotes, followed by the author(s)/speakers full names (if there are two authors) or the first author only if there are three or more authors and the appropriate present tense verb. At the end of the quote or paraphrase there should be appropriate parenthetical documentation (either the PDF page number the material came from, or the beginning and ending time of the material in a timed video, or a shortened version of the title—the first one or two important words in quotes if the source has no PDF page numbers). Your paper also needs an appropriate conclusion, one that reinforces your argument against the article, and a Works Cited. (minimum 1250 words)
Assignments: Paper 3 requires you to do an objective, comprehensive summary of the article you are arguing against (Botstein, Singleton, or Levin), rough draft of 4 body paragraphs which are a direct argument against the article, and final version of the paper. you don’t need to do the rough draft
