I’d like you to conduct a thorough interview with an individual
who holds a professional position that you would like to hold within five years
of graduating from college. The
individual should not be a close friend or family member. You’ll begin by assembling a wide array of
questions that will act like a script for the interview.
Once you’ve completed your interview, you must then
write a five to seven page (1250-1750 word) typed, double-spaced essay that
analyzes the information you obtained through the experience. I want to emphasize that it should be written
as an essay and not simply be a document that reads “First this was discussed,
then this was discussed…” Instead, you should attempt to touch on a variety of
themes that were discussed by you and your subject while attempting to create a
very readable and engaging essay.
Pretend that your classmates are your primary audience and that your
essay should be able to be used as a professional development tool to help them
expand their knowledge of your chosen profession. The essay is due on Friday March 29, 2024.
