– Clearly show which 3 questions you selected in your exam and before answering repeat

– Integrate in your answer theories and concepts that were discussed in the course.
Clearly discuss which concepts from the literature you are using and why they apply
to your example/argumentation.
– In each question, use a minimum of 3 references from the semester’s literature.
You may use additional literature but make sure your sources are academic and
reliable.
o Do not use verbatim quotes.
o Refer to the exact page numbers of the references where you found your
arguments (e.g. Johnson, 2020, p. 25).
o Add a reference list at the end of each question.

– Limit yourself to a word range of 500-700 words per question (excluding references). We
will take into account a 10% rule, but please write concisely and revise after writing your
first draft to check whether there are redundant sentences/parts.
– Make sure to be original and use your own words when formulating arguments. Any
suspicions of plagiarism (including answers generated by ChatGPT) will be referred to the
Board of Examiners for further investigation. Answers generated by and copied from
ChatGPT or other generative AI tools are also considered as plagiarism.
– Carefully read exam instructions and make sure to answer all the (sub)questions!

We will assess these questions on the basis of:
• Argumentation: Are the arguments in your answers correct, well-supported and
convincingly grounded in the literature? Is the argumentation presented in a clear and
concise way while respecting the word count (no more than 10% deviation from the given
word count)?
• Referencing: Are the references precise and concrete enough? Is the source of information
valid and reliable?
• Structure: Does the answer build up in a coherent way? Are the connections between the
ideas clearly explained?
• Style: How well does the answer observe the style and referencing conventions of academic
writing? Is the writing clear and concise? Are grammar and spelling correct?

the following questions using concepts and theories discussed throughout the course:
– What sorts of stereotypes relating to People with Down Syndrome (PwDS) are being
addressed in the video? What emotions do these stereotypes evoke?
– What type of behaviors might these stereotypes (and attached emotions) trigger from
the groups being targeted by the campaign and how do these perpetuate stigma?
– To what extent do you think that this campaign is effective? Reflect on the possible
perspectives and reactions of both PwDS and the target audiences of the campaign.

Some climate change activists have resorted to the strategy of gluing themselves to public roads to
disrupt traffic and push governments to take action. In this video, activist Josephine Schwenke from
the German activist group ‘Last Generation’ explains why in her eyes, such actions can be successful.
The interviewer wonders nevertheless whether such actions do not just infuriate and alienate the
affected commuters and the general public.
