Understanding the behavior and choices of justice-involved individuals can be helpful when determining the services and resources they need. In this assessment, you will reflect on the biopsychosocial theories of criminology you learned in Weeks 2 and 3, and determine how they can inform your work as a human services professional.
Write a 700- to 1,050-word report explaining the biopsychosocial causes of criminal behavior and their relevance in a human services context.
Audience: Write your report as though you are a manager sharing best practices for applying biopsychosocial criminology theory to the human services profession. Your report will be posted on a web page for other managers on your organization’s intranet.

Describe how an understanding of biopsychosocial causes of criminal behavior can help human service professionals rehabilitate the justice-involved individual(s) in the crime scenario. Examples:
