Part 1: You are hired as a public health consultant who has been asked to develop a public health program addressing abortion rights.

Must be 4 pages (minimum) (1.5 line spacing and APA formatting) in order to evaluate the public health
impact of the policy. Your write-up should include:
Overview of the proposed program (main points) – no more than 1 pages
Include aims of your proposes program
Include which public health essential service(s) this will address [see attachment]
Describe the anticipated public health impact of the program – about 2-3 pages
When describing what you anticipate the program to do, be sure to use public health literature that supports your premise. Use recent peer reviewed articles/ journals
Describe the anticipated healthy equity impact of the program– about 1.5 page
How does this impact health services offerings? Or how would an existing health system impact your proposed program?
Who would be most impacted by this/these programs?
Part 2: In a seperate word document, complete the following. Given the information you outlined above, describe 3 strategies that you would incorporate into the design of this public health program. Please include the following components in a minimum of 3 pages:
A brief overview of a potential public health program, audience, and target health behavior or health outcome – about 1-2 pages
Describe a health behavior theory or framework that you would use to guide your program design – about 1-2 pages
Use the Health Belief Model (HBM) – [see attachment]
Describe 3 culturally-relevant strategies that would address the target health behavior or health outcome – about 1-2 pages
