Outline:
I. Introduction
A. First I will be tackling how technology plays a huge role in the way children grow up, based on the good stuff and challenges it brings.
B. It’s always important that understanding the good and bad things of tech helps us make more wise and smarter decisions for our children.
II. The Upsides of Tech
A. First up, I will talk about how technology can help children discover new learning opportunities like cool educational videos or something of their interest and how they learn.
B. Furthermore, I will discuss how technology has fun and cool apps that will help children discover and interact with new skills like problem solving and many more.
III. The Downsides of Tech
A. On the flip side, I also will be talking about how too much screen time can minimize a child’s sleep and can have them constantly asking for their technology and could potentially put them at risk of seeing things they’re not supposed to see.
B. Also, having children with too much screen time can take away their ability to make friends and chat face to face with others .
C.  Another thing is how sitting down too much can hurt children physically and mentally making them feel negative emotions like anger or sadness.
IV. Why Early Years Matter
A.  Furthermore, I will talk about how children develop as an infant all the way until they are 5 years old on why it’s important to try to keep them away from their devices for too long because it can shape who they become and it will be hard to comfort and support them.
B. Moreover, I will mention how it’s important for parents to spend quality time with their children instead of having them on their devices.
V. Tech and Health Worries
A. Then, we’ll dig into the latest studies on how too much screen time can mess with kids’ brains and their overall well-being.
VI. Wrapping It Up
A.  To sum it up, technology has two sides that we need to be aware of. One is technology and the other is its effect on their brain that we need to be very careful with.
B.  Nextly, I will wrap things up with finding more things for children to do other than staying in doors on the screen like, going to a park, movies, or library.
C. Finally, we’ll wrap things up by saying we need to keep learning and talking about tech and kids so parents, teachers, and leaders can make the best decisions.
