Prior to beginning this final paper visit each of the above company websites and select one to base your paper upon. The paper must be between 8 to 10 pages in length and include five credible sources, in addition to the text. If after researching your selected company, you are unable to find all the information that you need for this paper, you can create hypothetical information that fulfills the assignment’s required directives. As a starting point, you must first refer to the company website and conduct additional research on the company to find as much information as possible. For creating hypothetical information, consider referencing competing companies.
Your paper must include the following:
Develop an organizational chart for the organization.
If the company website does not have an organizational, chart create a model chart. Decide what departments should be included.
Evaluate how using the organizational chart can distribute human resources and other resources across the organization.
Determine how the functions of each department are directly or indirectly interrelated.
Include the title of positions and a brief description of the positions’ duties and responsibilities.
Chapter 8: Sections 8.4 to 8.7 will provide you with the examples of how different organizations are structured.
Define the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
Develop an outline for a basic planning process for the organization that describes how the three levels of management influence this process.
Explain why the quality, productivity, and profitability are important elements in the planning process.
Evaluate the relationship between the human resource planning activities and the overall organizational strategy.
Evaluate the use of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the operations of the organization.
Discuss the philosophy of management applicable to the management of the organization and how the structure of the organization creates a positive, negative, or mix of positive and negative work environment factors where employees are motivated and productive or demotivated and less productive. If a mixture of productive and less productive factors exists, include both.
Reading about the company will help you to understand company philosophy.
Discuss the control process used by the organization.
Evaluate the suitability of increasing the amount of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the company.
