Qualitative and quantitative research are research methodologies used to analyze human behavior and organizational functioning. Although these represent two unique types of research methods, they both aim to answer or evaluate research question(s).
Imagine you are a human resource consultant asked to train a group of new employees on quantitative and qualitative research, including the application of these methods in an organizational setting.
Develop a training module in the following format:

Overview: Define in your own words qualitative and quantitative research.
Assessment Methods: Provide at least one example of a testing, assessment, or evaluation method for (1) qualitative research and (2) quantitative research.
Practical Application: Describe at least two organizational situations (e.g., high attrition rate, declining morale, training outcome improvement, or diversity training gaps) to illustrate effective application for both types of research. Include the following:
Purpose or objective of the research
Research design
Sampling method
Any statistical method used to analyze data
Anticipated results
Conclusion: Summarize the main points about qualitative and quantitative research that you want your audience to take away from this training.

Several approaches are acceptable – the reference items (full reference information) can either be included in APA format on each slide to which it applies, or all of them can be included on a single slide at the end of the presentation, again in APA format. Either way, in-text citations should be placed on each slide that references the appropriate resources and included in your speaker notes.
The organization of slide content and the use of quality images are very important. Make sure the slides are visually balanced with content and images, and that the images are of quality and are not distractions. Select fonts that are ADA-compliant and of a reasonable size in your slides. Avoid harsh colors and make sure the background and content have good contrast. Keep in mind that slide content is intended to be minimal, an outline for your audience to follow. It is in your comprehensive speaker notes where the elaboration should occur – this is what you would be saying to your audience. Lastly, there is no need to include recordings of your comprehensive speaker notes.
Evaluation of this assignment will include the following criteria:
Accuracy of content
Clarity of visuals and sound (which one depends on which format selected)
Use of currently relevant examples
Credible use of current professional/scholarly sources to support your stance or argument
