Students are required to conduct a
clinical observation at a non traditional healthcare facility and
present findings using PowerPoint software. The requirements are:
PowerPoint slides
- Individual presentation must have 5-7 slides. Include your name and facility name
- (Students may opt to present in groups of two or three) Group Presentation 7-12 slides
- Group leader name will be listed first and other students thereafter
- Each student within the group must lecture on at least one slide
- First slide should only include the name of the facility and the student(s) name(s)
- Second slide should focus on the type of facility, type of patients seen, departmental mission, goals, objectives
- Third slide is for Clinical Observation Assignment questions (See questions in separate folder letters a – n). Discuss and answer at least 4 questions
- Remaining slides will discuss
- your experience at the facility and any tasks you performed
- Clinical Observation Assignment questions from letters o – w
- Your recommendation of the site to other students and why?
- Include clinical site pictures to enhance the presentation. Point deductution if images are not HIPAA compliant.
- Time limit for presentation:
- Individual 5 – 8 minutes
- Group 10 – 13 minutes
- If slides will not fit in the dropbox. Post the facility name and
group members in assignment dropbox. Forward the presentation via
