Pastor Jack Jacob Jackson, an evangelical preacher from Louisiana, holds service 7 days a week preaching about the gospel and repentance of sins. Most of his sermons deal with themes related to fornication, lust and adultery.
According to the pastor, “Humans are Governed by Passion, not Reasoning… if it is not money, is sex, or power, but surely they are flawed due to the rebellion of their heart”. Pastor Jackson contends that feminism [the socio-political movement] has changed the culture in almost irreparable ways, and that these feminists need repentance to “come out of their wicked ways”.
Many politicians, as well as the media, scrutinize the Pastor’s remarks as sexist and prejudicial. In fact, many feminist-activists state that this is an attack against Women’s rights in the United States. However, when confronting the Pastor about these allegations, he simply states that he only speaks the truth and that he would always be hated for defending the traditional roles of males and females in society and in family life. Accordingly, “I don’t hate them, but I must tell them the truth… Repent!”
