You should analyze this study using the questions and proposed structure below to guide you. As part of your analysis, you are expected to consult a minimum of six (6) outside resources to expand your understanding of the study itself, the health issue addressed, and the community the study occurs in. Analysis: Here are some questions to guide your analysis . You don’t have to answer the questions in this order, but the analysis should in some way address relevant questions: Analyze women and children’s access to health care in the country/region of the case study. Is the case study’s project objectives and funding clearly described? Who are the project’s leaders? What were local women’s leadership and delivery roles in the case study? If donors were involved, did they take direction from the targeted communities? How were local and community cultural norms taken into consideration? Are relevant determinants of health addressed? Were the health issues adequately researched and documented before the case study was implemented? Did the project develop as intended and designed? If its implementation deviated from the intent and design, was an adequate rationale given? Did its evaluation include process and outcome measures? Were the measures and outcomes clearly defined? How was women’s, adolescents’ or children’s health access impacted (or not) by the project? Did you feel that women felt ownership of this project? Were any plans for sustainablity presented? On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being very weak and 10 being very positive) how would you rate the impact of this project? What is your rationale? Conclusion: What did you learn from the analysis of this case study? How has your analysis impacted the way you will approach women, adolescents, and children’s global health initiatives?
