Paper writing is something I have struggled with my entire career as a student. Paper formatting especially, There are multiple resources I have always found tutorials and templates more helpful than reading explanations of guidelines. I feel my paper formatting has improved through this course and I am not as anxious when writing and formatting papers anymore. There are a few resources I have found very helpful. The first one is the Purdue Owl website, this website “… contains resources on in-text citation and the References page, as well as APA sample papers, slide presentations, and the APA classroom poster” (Purdue, 2022). The Purdue resources are very helpful to toggle back and forth between and see the same information in different ways. I have also found the resources in Grand Canyon’s library to be helpful. I especially like the video tutorial series. “This video tutorial series was created to help students with formatting papers per APA 7th Edition guidelines” (GCU). I like that the university has their own resources and guidelines and templates available to their students because it gives the students an idea of what the expectations are of the university. There are so many resources out there that it is helpful as a stressed-out student to be able to know where to look for the information you need.
