A fundraising and/or donor development plan for an arts organisation.You are making a presentation to your Board about a new philanthropic or fundraising plan for your organisation. You can “invent” an arts/cultural organisation or chose an existing one. If you invent one and need to spend more than 200-300 words describing it, provide an Appendix so that you can focus on the fundraising plan in the Board report.Your Board Report should contain as a minimum:
Cover Sheet (including name, student number, organisation, word count)
Executive Summary of the fundraising/donor development plan
Table of Contents page
A summary of the organisation and its activities
Its philanthropic/development strengths and weaknesses
The part of the organisation’s purpose/mission that is going to be supported by the campaign i.e. what you’re raising the money for and why that activity is important
Nature of the campaign/activity
The specific objectives of the appeal/s
Key target groups for the appeal/s
How much money is the campaign/activity trying to raise, cost of fundraising and over what period of time?
Enough arguments to convince the Board that this project is a good idea.
