For research don’t use wikipedia or Random forensic blogs or websites.
You will be expected to do some research and locate external references—make sure your references are reliable and scholarly (no Wikipedia/HowStuffWorks/Random Forensic Science Blogs or Websites). Use Google Scholar and the Library to locate scholarly journal articles (for example, the Library has access to the Journal of Forensic Sciences).
Below there is a table in which you have been assigned a type of physical pattern evidence. Consider how that type of pattern can be useful in a crime scene reconstruction:
First, define and describe your pattern type.
Second, explain when your pattern type may be encountered at a crime scene and how it may be deposited.
Third, explain how your pattern type can be analyzed in a forensic science laboratory and how your pattern type can be interpreted when reconstructing events.
For the Table since my last name starts with letter U. So my topic will be Blood.
