Discussion board: providing professional & effective feedback.
It is important for nurses in every position to understand how to communicate effective, usable, feedback to others at various levels. Doing so professionally can seem daunting, but there are a variety of well-documented approaches that are effective and reduce stress. This discussion will prepare students to provide effective and usable feedback related to peers’ PDSA projects on the Cycle 1 and 2 Discussion boards.

For your initial post, respond to the following:
* What lessons have you learned about giving effective feedback?
* What feedback would you provide to a peer in the following situation: A coworker asks you to review their slide presentation prior to presenting it to the unit. You notice several errors, including fairly obvious spelling and grammar errors. The colors are too bright and make the slides difficult to read. However, the information in the presentation is very well-researched.
* Provide references per the minimum reference requirements as linked in the instructions below. References need to incorporate scholarly sources beyond the resources provided in the course.
