Smartphone apps are everywhere. So much of life’s business is taken care of with an app on phones, tablets, and laptops. Religious communities also use smartphone apps making these groups consumers of technological products.
For this prompt, students should imagine that they are creating a smartphone creation presentation attempting to receive funding to create a smartphone app. In this entrepreneurial spirit, students should research one of the religious communities listed below and ask what kind of app would be attractive to members of that community? Students should not create a social media platform for that community since this is too obvious.
Students should submit a pdf of a PPT or google slides presentation in Canvas. This slideshow for the imagined funding presentation should include a minimum of 6 slides as outlined below.
Students will be graded on their creativity, research, and presentation.
