Pick a developing country of your interest (do not select a high-income country).
Write a letter to the president or the prime minister of that country to convince him or her to pursue sustainable development.
You can write it as a general proposal, if you prefer to write it as an academic paper.
* Identify the main historical, political, and geographical factors that have contributed to the country’s development (or lack of development) since 1950.
* Then, explore to see if there are neighboring countries that offer positive lessons for the country’s future development. (include sustainable development factors and be specific with each lessons; do use headings like “China’s economy”)
* Finally, recommend and justify your development strategies to address the following needs: faster economic growth and poverty reduction; improved social indicators, and confronting planetary boundaries.
* Include works cited at the end, use APA style for listing references, and in-text citation NOT footnotes.
* Use specific headlines for each parts.
* Don’t be vague. Be Specific.
