Suppose that during an interview, the interviewer asked you the following question: “I see that you graduated from an online institution. How does your online education at Excelsior give you a competitive edge in the health sciences job market?” How would you respond to this question?
People are often asked during job interviews to identify their strengths and weaknesses. We are often prepared to showcase our strengths. How do we prepare for questions that ask about weaknesses or need areas? How do we turn our weaknesses into an advantage in an interview situation? As you discuss this question, think about your weaknesses and the guidance provided in your module reading on weaknesses. How can you address these weaknesses as part of your professional development plan?
