The final exam covers debates and subjects discussed in class and in the textbook, from chapters 7 to 10. Please select three (3) of the six (6) questions below and answer them avoiding generic and superficial statements and arguments. Be specific in your answers and address the issues and events in your argument/answer in a clear and succinct manner. Answer the questions using class notes, recorded lectures, and our textbook.
Each question has a value of 15 points. You will draft the answers in a Word document, single spaced, the font will be Times New Roman. The maximum extension of the paper, with the three questions answered separately, will be 3 pages.

6. How did conflicts over race and slavery within the rebel community affect the nineteenth century evolution of Cuban nationalism
