The final paper will be a ten to twelve-page paper which adheres to the same formatting and citation rules as the first paper. For the final you are to select a minimum of two (you may select more) Rodney texts we’ve read throughout the class. The final paper is to critically analyze these two (or more) texts relative to one another.
Specifically, the paper should examine the different political currents evinced in the selected texts, how they interact, support, or contradict one another. Moreover, the paper should analyze the selected texts relative to the overarching politics of Marxism, Pan-Africanism, and Black Nationalism as well as in relation to Rodney’s utilization, reformulation, or disavowal of these ideological currents. The final paper is due on May 20 at 11:59p via Blackboard.
