Leaders and Social Media
As contemporary leaders, we must all embrace social media platforms, both as a promotional tool of organizational accomplishments and as a means to connect to others in the global business environment. Key to embracing such media effectively is developing an understanding of varied cultural views.
For this post, use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or other social media platforms to follow two different business leaders (do not use political or social leaders). These two leaders should be similarly situated, but from diverse cultures. After you have followed two leaders, address the following in your discussion:
Describe your leaders and your reasons for selecting them.
Compare the two leaders based on how and what they communicate in their social media accounts.
Evaluate their posts based on the unit readings related to leadership in the virtual and cross-cultural world.
