Critical Analysis of a Speech
Watch a TED Talk speaker deliver a presentation. You can find many on YouTube and on the TED Talk site.
I highly recommend TED Talks for this assignment. Choose any TED Talk you want.

After you have watched the speech
Write a critical analysis of the presentation. This paper should be two – three pages in length typed 12 pt font, double spaced and address the following areas:

-Choice of topic for the occasion……Did the topic work well for the occasion and speaker? Why or why not?
-Organization Did the speech flow well. Was it easy to follow? Were there clear sections to the speech? Was it easy to follow?
-Supporting Materials and / or proof and evidence used Did the speaker use good examples? What were they and why did they work?
-Delivery Style Comment on the speakers. Voice, eye contact, gestures, dress for the occasion, etc. Was it an extemporaneous presentation, memorized, read, ?
-Strengths of the presentation What did you like best about the presentation? Did audience respond well to the speech?
-Weaknesses of the Presentation What might you suggest the speaker improve?
