– Health Systems improvement and patient safety: . All these fields are important and crucial in health field. In my opinion I could say without a doubt that health system improvement and patient safety is crucial in the field of medicine through my personal experiences and profession. I worked as a medical scribe at Roswell comprehensive cancer Center. My responsibilities included performing documentation in HER and gathering information for the patients visit. It provided the provider an opportunity to deliver efficient care to his patient. As a medical scribe I had full access to patient which includes very sensitive information about the patient. It is very important to keep those information safe. I believe it is important to know this knowledge before becoming a medical student. There are very few health care facilities that have scribes. I have always accompanied my mom to her every clinic visit where the doctor is multi tasking. For example they are documenting while they are with the patient. I think it gives them very little time to focus on patient care and it is very inefficient. To improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of patient care it is very important for the physician to completely focus on patient care.Having an inexorable passion for the medical field, I foresee myself being a successful physician. Working as a physician, I am hopeful of being the best version of doctor that I can ever be, dispensing not only quality medical care but also compassion and love to my fellow patients. , I also intend to volunteer as a physician in various local community centers to render free of charge medical services to those in need, especially individuals hailing from a marginalized community. My father currently owns a private school in the Afghanistan, offering quality education to students. Intending to follow in his footsteps, it will be a tremendous achievement to be able to establish a medical school in Afghanistan. More specifically, the institution will be focused on providing education opportunities to female students because compared to their male counterparts, women continue to be treated unfairly as if they are any less worthy compared to the opposite gender. I intend to improve the livelihood of women in the country.
