Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) is a nonpartisan legislative branch agency that provides the US Congress with analysis and policy advice on the Medicare program. Use this website Medicare Hospital Compare (Links to an external site.)to compare data from your organizations setting or your hospital’s 30-day readmission rate with the research findings. If you do not work in a hospital choose one in your zip-code area for the purposes of this exercise. Discuss at least three potential reasons for the organizations 30-day readmission rate, as well as proposing at least three ideas for interventions to reduce and control readmissions at this hospital.
