Required Resources
Minimum of 5 scholarly sources (in addition to the textbook)
MS PowerPoint (see Course Resources to download Office/PowerPoint)
Instructions
What would you do if you encountered a person with vastly different religious beliefs than your own? Create a presentation that will demonstrate what resources you would use, and what strategies and/or tips you would use to create or promote an atmosphere of tolerance.
Include the following:
What religious group did you choose?
What are the basic tenets of that religious group?
How do those religious tenets differ from your beliefs?
What strategies did you use to address the differences between the different beliefs?
Looking forward, how will your experience impact the way you work with individuals from different backgrounds?
As you complete your presentation, be sure to:
Use speaker’s notes to expand upon the bullet point main ideas on your slides, making references to research and theory with citation.
Proof your work
Use visuals (pictures, video, narration, graphs, etc.) to compliment the text in your presentation and to reinforce your content.
Do not just write a paper and copy chunks of it into each slide. Treat this as if you were going to give this presentation live.
