For your Final Exam, you will be responsible for creating an informative child welfare post to share on social media or in print.
You will identify a program, resource, organization, agency, myth and fact, law and/or policy (other options not listed are allowed) to provide information on.
You will then create a social media post with the information related to the child welfare option you have chosen (myth, agency, law, policy etc). It is not required for this post to be shared but it can be and is encouraged.
If you do not have social media, you can create a print post in Word or PowerPoint for preparation to be shared via email, or print.
Please be creative and think about sharing what you create to help others. You can also utilize digital platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc to create an informative post. You can use a video, audio, or worded post for this Final Exam.
You will need to ensure your post is grammatically correct and does not have spelling issues, and please be creative (this can be with color, graphics, images, audio, video etc.).
The post content should include information on what you are sharing and 1 reputable resource should be identified.
Once you have drafted your post, you will upload the file, or screenshot the post and upload in Canvas for credit. You do not need to share your screen name which is why a screenshot will work.
*If using a myth and fact, include the myth, and the fact and include a resource to support the fact and where others can get more information.
*If using a program, resource, organization, or agency, include the demographics (contact information, hours, location etc) who it benefits , how and why. Include a resource on where you gathered your information and where others can get more information.
*If using a policy or law, include information on the policy or law, who it helps or hurts, how others can advocate for or against it. Include a resource on where you obtained the information and where others can get more information.
