After reading and reflecting on the exhibit, answer the following questions in no more than ONE paragraph for each:
Do you believe the body of research related to unequal treatment of underrepresented populations? If yes, why? If no, Why not?
Have you ever witnessed or experienced unequal treatment? If yes, give specific example.
Are there any solutions to the problems of unequal treatment? If yes, list.
What ethical principles are being violated when certain groups are not provided with appropriate cardiac medications for bypass surgery and/or kidney dialysis?
Do any of the Codes in the Nurse Code of Ethics apply to unequal treatment? If yes which one(s)? If no, explain your answer.
As a nurse leader in any organization, how could one use Emotional Intelligence as a tool to address unequal treatment?
