Objectives
The goal of the company overview assignment is for the student to be able to easily communicate the student’s new entertainment business model using the business model canvas format. In addition to defining the business in terms of what the company produces, who the audience is, and how the company intends to generate revenue, the student must also develop how to differentiate the company from the other competitors in the marketplace and be innovative for a specific customer/client.
Research is required to understand more about the competition and potential clients/customers through a well-research audience profile.
Instructions
Provide a company overview (1-2 pages) for the business you plan to create for the Entertainment Business master’s program. Be sure to discuss the specific services your company will provide along with the specific requirements from below. Be sure to use market research to justify your answers. No credit will be given unless in-text citations and references are used for the research provided.
Your company overview should include the following:
An overview of your business plan
A summary of your business model using the Business Model Canvas – Canvanizer.com
Include your company’s Unique Value Proposition.
Describe your target market and include your main target audience. Provide a well-researched customer profile.
Who is the main competitor in your industry and what is their UVP?
Entertainment Industry Business Model. Provide a completed Business Model Canvas for your entertainment business plan. Use the online business model canvas platform, Canvanizer.com, or a PDF version of the business model canvas and update with your completed entertainment business model canvas. You can provide a PDF, a screenshot and/or a link from one of the online platforms.
Use the Unique Value Proposition formula provided in the course resources as references to help you define your company.
Deliverable
Provide a written company overview including the additional requirements described and include a title page and reference page. Use APA format including citations for the research. The overview of your company should include your unique value proposition, customer profile, and competition/UVP. Also, include a screenshot of your business model canvas and/or add a link to your completed business model canvas for the company you are developing for your business plan for the EBMS program.
