• Take pictures and scan and attach it to your submission.
• Take a picture in the middle of the process–REQUIRED
• Take a picture of the completed assignment—REQUIRED
2. Part 2 – Photography:
Directions:
Upload your chosen photographs with an explanation of how each one relates to the relevant category. You need to show how you really UNDERSTOOD each category and how you achieved it in your photos!
1. Create a surrealist photomontage in COLOR that has a theme that relates to issues of today. The image must be at least 8 x 11 inches in size and have at least 10 different images taken from different places that create one composition that makes sense and has a theme. The theme can be about anything that you want to talk about. Whether a political statement, a vision of the future, a reflection of the past, etc… BUT YOU MUST FIRST UNDERSTAND WHAT SURREALISM is….(research it!), etc.
• To create the photomontage, use copyright-free images you find on the internet and do it digitally.
• WARNING!!!! WARNING: A PHOTOMONTAGE is not a COLLAGE. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE, while similar—-there is a big difference. You will need to do some reading and research to understand the difference!!!–DO NOT SUBMIT A COLLAGE). Here is an example: https://lennon-art.co.uk/photomontage/
Part 3 Directions – Reflection:

2. What happens when you moisten the paper, then paint?
3. Were you happy with the final result? Why? Why not? What could you have done differently?
Part 2
1. Describe each of the 10 images of your photojournalist assignment or the ones you chose for the photomontage you created. What was it about–how did they relate to your theme?
2. Do I have strong compositions?
3. Why did I choose the 10 images I did? How did they contribute to the overall project?
4. How well did I edit my photographs?
5. What would I do differently if I shot this assignment again?
Part 3
